We took engagement portraits of Sarah and Jack at a community park in Loomis on a cloudy winter afternoon. It was cold but they were great sports. The wedding was just a week away and you could feel their building excitement….

Sarah & Jack ~ Engagement Portraits
Written by Administrator on January 24th, 2010InterState Oil Company
Written by Administrator on October 17th, 2009InterState Oil Company is a family owned business in Sacramento that distributes fuel and lubricants throughout California and Nevada. The company was founded in 1970 by the Andrews family, and remains owned and operated by the Andrews. The family believes that the true strength of the company comes from the people within, who are all considered part of the family. InterState Oil Company is also involved in community charities and participates in events such as the annual Race for a Cure, Race for a Wish, Food for Families, and McClellan Park Holiday Gift Baskets. We recently had the opportunity of photographing the InterState McClellan Terminal staff. They just got a shiny new truck with a fully wrapped trailer promoting their involvement in biofuels, so we posed them in front of the truck in their truck yard. We also photographed their Vice President, Brent Andrews. Thanks, team, for a fun shoot!

Rob & Heather ~ Married at the Lake Natoma Inn
Written by Administrator on September 23rd, 2009Rob & Heather got married last Sunday at the Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom, in a romantic patio ceremony followed by an elegant reception in the Pavilion. This couple is special, well loved by all who attended the wedding, and we were blessed to be part of their wedding day. They were very good sports, happily obliging our requests to do pictures despite the heat, and our repeatedly asking, “how about a few more portraits, this time by the fountain?”….and so on!

Bobby & Robin ~ Just married!
Written by Administrator on September 23rd, 2009Bobby and Robin were married in “down home” style at the Bear River Retreat in Grass Valley last weekend. The ceremony and reception were held out on the lawn overlooking the Bear River Valley. Guests enjoyed barbecued chicken and ribs (done right there on-site) and country potato salad. Dancing was done under the stars on the grand driveway in front of the house. The weather was perfect and Bobby & Robin were a delight to work with; they were fun, easy-going, and really “into” taking lots of pictures (our favorite type of client!). Congratulations Bobby & Robin!

Christine & Ed
Written by Administrator on August 31st, 2009Christine & Ed were married in simple elegance at a catholic church in Sacramento, and their reception was held at the Embassy Suites in Old Sacramento. They love the Old Sac area and wanted their formal portraits taken with Old Sac buildings in the background. Of course, we were happy to oblige them!
Christina & Brian ~ Save the Date!
Written by Administrator on August 4th, 2009We had such a fun time with Christina & Brian at the Natural Bridges on the Santa Cruz beach, which is where Brian proposed. Christina said YES and now we are working on their save-the-date cards. We hope they like them!
